Snowbirds Stop in London Highlights 2019 Preparation
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Date: Tuesday, January 29, 2019
Snowbird Captains Robbie Hindle and Ari Majahan touched down in London on Monday afternoon to cold temperatures and a warm welcome. Representatives of AIRSHOW LONDON (ASL), Diamond Aircraft, and local media greeted the RCAF pilots. The visit was part of the pre-season connections and review meetings conducted by the Snowbirds for all major North American airshow sites where they will perform in 2019.
Diamond Aircraft generously provided heated parking space in their hangar for the CT-114 Tutor jet, as Hindle and Majahan headed out to participate in an ASL site and logistics review, a tour of the Fanshawe Norton Wolf School of Aviation Technology and then returned to Diamond Aircraft to meet and speak with employees.
The Snowbird team is scheduled to depart London International Airport at noon today.
