By Friday afternoon, the line of vehicles had already started to form on Crumlin Road heading into London International Airport.
To Peter Henderson, it’s a welcome sight — and a sign that the annual Airshow London is back again.
Henderson is the general manager of Crumlin Creek Golf Club, a 12-hole course located a 4-iron shot away from the airport’s main runway. He says the thousands of visitors coming to the airshow often mean spin-off benefits for the course, giving a lift to food sales in particular. The course’s restaurant already had 120 reservations for Friday, the first day of the four-day event.
